Jun 20, 2018  Ok so im trying to run this app on my mac with wine bottler as ive tried crossover and it has alot of issues and its too complicated. The windows app isnt an installer it comes in a folder and when you run the.exe it needs the files and folders it came with. Ive tried literally all 3 options in the winebottler. It looks like CrossOver is a wrapper around Wine that makes installing/running the Wine applications extremely simple. However, it's using an older version of Wine (4.x instead of 5.x). I'd like to be on the cutting edge (maybe not bleeding edge, haha) so I like to be using the latest versions, etc.
